R is one of the most widely used programming languages in the field of Data Science. This course provides a comprehensive introduction to programming with R for beginners.

Regardless of your background: whether in the natural sciences, finance, sociology, or another discipline - data plays a crucial role in answering questions and generating valuable insights. To uncover these insights, however, data often needs to be cleaned, transformed into an appropriate format, analyzed through relevant calculations, and presented in clear and meaningful visualizations.

Using small and easy-to-follow datasets, participants will learn the fundamentals of data wrangling, statistical analysis, and data visualization in R. To create a relaxed and supportive learning environment, we will take participants’ individual needs into account and work in small discussion and practice groups.

Participants are required to bring their own laptop and must have administrator rights to install software if necessary.
